　　康熙皇帝（汤镇业饰）病重，国师求法得知真命皇后尚未出现，致令龙体违和，唯今之计是命人去未来寻得真凤皇后与康熙匹配，皇上方能得救，此任务交予韦小宝（梁朝伟饰）执行，小宝遂乘坐罗刹国之高科技结晶——穿梭古今无敌浑天轮误到一九九三年的香港，并结识市井之徒亚超（张卫健饰），两人成为好友；另一方面，小宝认识小学教师霞女，对其渐生情愫，但此时以建宁公主（叶玉卿饰）为首的七位娇妻又来现代寻夫，引起连串趣事，再加上吴三桂派手下追杀小宝，以阻止他寻找皇后，小宝面对种种问题，如何决断呢？
